Rengkam, Rumput Laut Kepri Guncang Pasar China

Potensi Sumber Daya Alam (SDA) kelautan yakni rumput laut (rengkam) / (Sargassum sp. - red) Kepulauan Riau (Kepri) menorehkan cerita luar biasa setelah berhasil menembus pasar China dengan di ekspor sebesar 72,9 ton atau senilai 274 juta rupiah. Rengkam telah dikenal masyarakat sebagai bahan kompos yang baik untuk tanaman sejak 4 tahun terakhir, hal ini sesuai dengan banyaknya permintaan rengkam yang menjadi pendapatan lain bagi nelayan atau masyarakat pesisir.  Petugas periksa ekspor rumput laut rengkam  Balai Karantina Hewan Ikan dan Tumbuhan Kepulauan Riau (Karantina Kepri) melalui Pos Pelayanan (Pospel) Batu Ampar memfasilitasi ekspor rumput laut dengan melakukan sejumlah pemeriksaan dan sertifikasi (21/07/2025).
